"Weekend marriages" are marriages in which couples live apart at separate residences for a majority of their relationship. They maintain other aspects of a traditional marriage, including but not limited to sharing childcare responsibilities and financial obligations to each other

The proposed 'Heartland Visa' plan in the US involves allowing skilled immigrants to enter and work in specific regions of the US experiencing economic and demographic decline or stagnation (e.g., the Rust Belt). Under the proposal, the immigrant would be able to obtain permanent residency if they spend at least six years working in the specific region. Eligible regions or counties may opt in or out of the program, while the immigrant may choose the destination they intend to work in. Heartland visa holders would have broad authorization to work, leaving them free to start businesses or move between industries, occupations, and employers as they see fit.

Hedge funds can engage in 'short trades' (betting that the share price of a company will go down). Hedge funds can profit if the value of a company falls. 

Increasingly, in "stock market populism", individual stock traders target certain stocks to buy which would increase the value of the stock price to counteract 'short trades' and cause losses for hedge funds e.g. the Gamestop short squeeze.
